Need help with simplifying trig equations?

It's been a while since I've done trig identities and I seem to have completely forgotten how to do them. I ask for help for someone to do the first step of each problem to help guide me towards the answer

See the explanation below

Explanation:

You need

sin^2theta+cos^2theta=1

tan^2theta+1=sec^2theta

1+cot^2theta=csc^2theta

(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2

a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)

(1)

((tantheta+1)(tantheta+1)-sec^2theta)/(tantheta)

=(tan^2theta+2tantheta+1-sec^2theta)/(tantheta)

......

(2)

(5cos^2theta+6costheta+1)/(cos^2theta-1)=((5costheta+.....)(costheta+......))/((costheta+1)(costheta-1))

(3)

(1+cottheta)(1-cottheta)-csc^2=1-cot^2theta-csc^2theta=.......

I have left the blanks for you to continue. If you experience any problems, contact me.
