Explanation:

First let's state what we know.

1). sin2(θ)+cos2(θ)=1

2). sin(θ)cos(θ)=tan(θ)

3). cot(θ)=1tan(θ)

So we have:

cos2(θ)=925

Taking roots:

cos(θ)=925=35
