There's one rather large question that I might ask...
Explanation:
Considering the modern state of Israel, as formed in accord with the Balfour declaration of 1917, the 1948 declaration of statehood of Israel and all subsequent events, do you see it as a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy - the promised gathering of the Jewish people from all the corners of the Earth to which they had been scattered?
Alternatively, do you think that it might have been a wishful, human driven effort with the true fulfilment of prophecy yet to come?
Alternatively, do you feel that this is of interest only to a small minority of religious people, with the "real" Israel being essentially a secular state?
