The formula doesn't make sense.....

The section $....(OH)C_2CH_2...$ cannot be correct. There is a carbon atom there which appears to have nothing bonded to it except another carbon!

Should it be $....(OH)CHCH_2...$ ? If so, then the product would be 2-butanol.

How would you name: CH_3CH_2(OH)C_2CH_2CH_3CH_3CH_2(OH)C_2CH_2CH_3?
