There is no way we can tell whether there is life on a planet or exoplanet.

Explanation:

Many man made probes landed on Mars but still we are not sure whether there is life on mars.
Regarding exoplanets considering their distance from star a nd temperature of the star what we can say is the star is ini ts Goldilocks zone..This indicates whether water can exist in liquid form..Our assumption on lfe is depend upon availability of liquid water,
