Mole is a number that connects mass of a substance with its number of particles.

1 mole of a substance = 6.02 x 1023 particles (entities)

1 mole of Dioxygen or O2 = 6.02 x 1023 molecules of O2

1 mole of O2 has mass 32 g

we can say that

32 g of O2 = 1 mole

1g of O2 = 1/32 mole

2500 g of O2 = 1/32 x 2500 = 78.125 moles.
