How does waste disposal lead to land pollution?

Inappropriate Waste disposal is the disposal of waste in a wrong manner, this is also called littering. When the waste is not collected properly, it will accumulate and cause pests such as rats to scavenge the waste, thus, bacteria and virus will be carried from this pests and infect other living organisms, some waste also poison the soil and poison plants growing near the area where huge amounts of waste accumulated and kill the plants. Animals roaming in the area might also eat the waste such as plastic which they thought was food and poison them.
