by #6# we get, #24x+6y=48 ; (3)#. Subtracting equation (1)

from equation(3) we get, #33x=46 or x =46/33#. Putting

# x =46/33# in equation (2) we get, # 4*46/33+y= 8 # or

# 184/33+y= 8 or y= 8-184/33 or y=(264-184)/33 # or
