$sqrt(48/8)=sqrt(6)$

We start simply by factoring the numerator and denominator noting that 6 8's are 48:

$sqrt(48/8)=sqrt((6*color(red)cancel(color(black)8))/(color(red)cancel(color(black)8)))=sqrt(6)$

Since 6 has only 2 and 3 as factors, this is as far as we can go.
