(9y^4)/(4x^7)

Explanation:

remember:

a^b * a^c = a^(b+c)

work

(3xy^4)/(2x^5y) * (6x^-3y^2)/(4y)

Simplify by dividing out factors in the top and bottom

(3y^3)/(2x^4) * (3x^-3y)/(2)

Now change the x^-3 into 1/x^3 and bring it into the denominator since anything to a negative power is one over that number to the positive exponent

(3y^3)/(2x^4) * (3y)/(2x^3)

Now we can multiply

(3y^3times3y)/(2x^4times2x^3)

And simplify

(9y^4)/(4x^7)
