How do you graph the linear equation, y=2x+7?

Please tell me every step because I don't know how to do this stuff.

Explanation:

Use Y=mx+C or Y=mx+B where;

Y is the y coordinate, m is the gradient and c is the y intercept.

Multiply 2 by the x value, then plus 7 to the answer to get the y value for the certain x coordinate. For example...

for x=2

y = (2 xx 2 ) + 7 = 4+ 7 = 11

We get color(red)( (2,11)

Do this for around 5 values, with some negative and positive:
