Inverse function is $y = \frac{10^{x} + 1}{3}$ $y=(10^x+1)/3$

As $y = log (3 x - 1)$ $y=log(3x-1)$

$3 x - 1 = 10^{y}$ $3x-1=10^y$

or $x = \frac{10^{y} + 1}{3}$ $x=(10^y+1)/3$

Hence inverse function of $y = log (3 x - 1)$ $y=log(3x-1)$ is $y = \frac{10^{x} + 1}{3}$ $y=(10^x+1)/3$
