Domainin(-∞,1]
Range in(-∞,0]

Explanation:

For the domain part, clearly the part inside the square root must be positive or zero that is
1-x >=0
x>=1
So domain in( -∞, 1]
Clearly as the value of x approaches -∞ that of y also approaches -∞
And if x=1, y=0
Therefore domainin(-∞,1]
Range in(-∞,0]
