How do you find one sided limits without graph?

It is not very different from two-sided limits. When something is approaching 00, then we need to pay special attention to which side it approaches 00 from. Let us look at the examples below.

lim_{x to 2^-}{3-5x}/{x-2}={3-5(2^-)}/{(2^{-})-2}={-7}/0^{-}=+infty

lim_{x to 2^+}{3-5x}/{x-2}={3-5(2^+)}/{(2^+)-2}={-7}/0^{+}=-infty
