If standard form is Ax + By = C, you might not like what the answer looks like!

Explanation:

The two points (-1,1) and (-2,1) lie on the horizontal line y = 1.
(You should agree that both y values are 1)
The slope can be calculated like this: m = #(1-1)/(-2-(-1))# = #0/-1#=0

In Slope-Intercept form, you would have y = 0x + b and then substitute one of the pairs for x and y. 1 = 0(-1) + b or 1 = b,
so y = 0x + 1 or just y = 1.

In order to force this equation to be in Standard Form, you can write 0x + 1y = 1.
