$dy/dx=tanx(1+secxtanx)+sec^2x(x+secx)$

Using the product rule we find that the derivative of $y=uv$ is $dy/dx=uv'+vu'$

$u=tanx$
$u'=sec^2x$

$v=x+secx$
$v'=1+secxtanx$
