Explanation:

It is convention in mathematics to try and avoid a root as the denominator if you can. To do this with your question I am going to multiply it by 1 but in the form of (sqrt(b))/sqrt(b)

(ab)/sqrt(b) times sqrt(b)/sqrt(b)

(a color(red)(cancel(b)) sqrt(b))/(color(red)(cancel(b))) = a sqrt(b)
