Latitude and longitude is a grid system adopted for navigation on the Earth's surface.
Explanation:
Green witch is the zero longitude.Equator is the zero latitude.
North of equator /south of equator is divided into 90 degrees.
From Greenwich degrees are marked towards east as longitude .
so by telling the latitude and ,longitude we can locate any plaaace on the globe./Earth.
