Yes, it can be cured.
Explanation:
Some forms of leukemia respond to chemotherapy which uses nuclear radiation to kill cancerous blood cells together with the healthy cells although there is a chance that it may go in remission, some don't however and would usually require a bone marrow transplant which is a very painful procedure and at times difficult to find a donor because of strict blood matching requirements.
