When a division is written in the form of a fraction, divisor becomes denominator, while dividend or remainder is numerator.

In this one has to divide #22690# by #757# and while #22690# is dividend, #757# is divisor.

The division process leads to #29# as quotient and #737# as remainder.

However, when we write the same as improper fraction #22690/757#, which from division process we know is equivalent to #29 737/757#,

in this form i.e. when a division is written in the form of a fraction, divisor becomes denominator, while dividend or remainder is the numerator.
