The dollar has the trajectory of a parabola from the equation that I see. You have to set s=0 and solve for its roots. That will determine when the dollar is at ground level.

-16t^2+555=0

-16t^2=-555

t^2=(-555)/-16=34.6875

t=sqrt34.6875=5.89

After 5.89 seconds, the dollar will hit the ground.

Velocity function is the derivative of the position function s:

(ds)/dt=v=-32t

The velocity at 5.89 seconds is:

v=-32(5.89)=-188.48 feet per second
