First make a diagram of the situation as shown: We are looking to find the distance $bb(RT)$ .

The Cosine Rule states, for a triangle $bb(ABC)$ .

$a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(C)$

Making $C=S=120^@$

We have:

$(bb(RT))^2=(bb(ST))^2+(bb(RS))^2-2(bb(ST))(bb(RS))*cos(bbS)$

$(bb(RT))^2=200^2+150^2-2(200)(150)*cos(120^@)$

So the first one is the correct solution.
