Explanation:

You have to use the properties of similar triangles:

{AB}/{AC}={BE}/{CD}={AE}/{AD}

Hence, since AB=20cm and AC=25cm, we have

BE=[AB*CD}/{AC}={20*18}/25=14.4cm

AD=[AC*AE}/{AB}={25*26}/20=32.5cm
