Bug report: Question stuck in edit mode even after the user cancelled the edit - "?"

Earlier today I asked Ernest to have a look at one of my answers.

At some point, he entered into Edit mode, then hit the Cancel button located next to the Update Answer.

For the past 15 minutes or so, the question has been showing the message "Ernest Z. is currently editing this answer. It should be done soon!"

I checked wit Ernest and he confirmed that he's not editing the answer. Here's the link to the question

It just stopped showing that the answer is currently being edited.

It's happening again, this time on a question Noel actually edited, i.e. added a couple of videos.
