Astronomers have found Planets around other stars in our Galaxy.
Present day technology is not powerful to resolve planets in other galaxies.

Planets orbiting other stars are known as Exo planets.around 2000 of them were found in last 12 years..Kepler space telescope and other land based telescopes use wobbling effect and transit methods to find exo planets..
