Neutophils contain granules in their cytoplasm. So, they do belong to granular leucocytes.
And they do kill or phagocytose bacteria.
Explanation:
Actually neutrophils being type of white blood cells are are present in bloodstream. Bacteria are present in capillaries at sites of wounds. These neutrophils travel through capillaries and starts to feed on those bacteria. In the mean process, neutrophils also eat other infectious foreign cells. Most of them die during the process. So their dead bodies accumulate to form a white substances called pus which could be seen at the site of infection.
Neutrophils destroy only small particles by phagocytosis.
