Well potassium bromide is the salt of a strong acid, and a strong base.......

#KOH(aq) + HBr(aq) rarr KBr(aq) + H_2O(l)#

Neither the cation nor the anion would cause hydrolysis, and if equimolar quantities were reacted the solution would express a neutral #pH#, i.e. #pH=7#.........

What about #NaCl(aq)#; what about #NaF(aq)#? Are #HCl# and #HF# strong acids? One is..........
