Explanation:

The Nazi party was given permission to attack the Jewish community. During the night Nazi brown shirts directed and led by Joseph Goebbels destroyed Jewish business , Worship centers and homes. In the morning the streets were littered with broken glass from the vandalism.

Over 100 Jewish men were killed. Another 30,000 were arrested for the crime of being Jewish and sent to concentration camps, where most would later die. This was the start of the "final solution" to the so called "Jewish Problem"

Adding insult to injury after the destruction of the Kristallnacht, the Jewish community was fined 400 million dollars to pay for the damage done that night.
