"Ammonium chloride" is the salt of "ammonia" and "hydrochloric acid".

In some literature you see ammonium chloride represented as H_3N*HCl, but the nitrogen in ammonia definitely becomes quaternized on salt formation, i.e. H_4N^(+)Cl^(-).
