Because there is no other planet (We can live)

Explanation:

Resources are limited (with the exception of solar energy and its derivatives).

Lots of plants we know but we do not know whether they will cure future health problems. If we pollute the Earth, these plants might disappear and we will probably never cure diseases in the future.

We cannot produce oxygen. We cannot produce water. When we pollute (atmosphere and hydrosphere) it is costly to treat. Some contaminants are not treated good enough.

If we live in harmony, our future generations deserve to live in harmony in a clean environment.

If you mine an area (e.g. gold mine), you contaminate soil, water and air there. However, if you try to rehabilitate the area, it is costly and in many cases it is not properly performed.

Money does not bring quality to your life. Clean environment make you happy and healthy.

When you are sick, you understand the value of your well being. It is similar in environmental pollution. When you live in a polluted area (due to any type of industrial activity), you value the clean environment.
