The moon does have water
Explanation:
There are a lot of water pockets trapped in the dark regions of the moon, as discovered fairly recently by an Indian space program.
However, it does not have nearly as much water as Earth because a lot of it is being vaporized by the sun into space since the Moon has a really thin atmosphere compared to Earth. So the water that gets on the moon is almost instantly taken away all the time.
