Louis Braille create the braille system of coded dots embossed into paper to permit blind people to read text, followed by mathematics, and then music

Explanation:

Louis Braille was unfortunate enough to blind himself as a child through an accident that led to infection in both eyes and total blindness.

When he grew up he met with an sited man who was interested in writing a code that could be read with no light for military purposes.

Braille was able to point out the problem with that system, which was too large. He was able to invent a smaller series of coded dots that could be felt with one finger.

Since Louis Braille was interested in science and music, he carried his code into these two fields as well.
