Two ideas come to mind. See below.
Explanation:
1) Take a piece of zinc and drop it into a dilute solution of dilute sulfuric acid. Note what happens.
2) If you are a little more ambitious: set up an electrolytic cell using the solution from (1) as the electrolyte, a zinc anode and an iron or steel cathode (for example, a nail). Turn the power on and watch what happens to the cathode. You have demonstrated electrogalvanizing.
