Explanation:
Non-polar covalent molecules can only interact through London Dispersion Forces (LDF) or what is also called Van der Waals forces.
LDFs are weak intermolecular forces (IMF) and do not require high energy to break them during the process of melting (solid to liquid).
Due to these weak IMFs, many non-polar molecules are gases at room temperature.
