Explanation:
Ok so I whipped this up super quick, red is quadratic, blue linear
Linear:
passes through (2,9) , (3,7) , (4,5) , (5,3)
Quadratic:
pass through (1,5) , (2,8) , (3,9) , (4,8)
(its -3 bc it moves right, +9 bc vertex is moved up 9)
