How to graph f(x) = square root of 2x-4 ??

It depend whether you are asking if f(x) = sqrt (2x-4) or sqrt 2x-4f(x)=2x4or2x4
In either case you would start off with the same steps..

Explanation:

Start by stating where x x is defined...
In the equation f(x) = sqrt (2x-4f(x)=2x4 , the domain of the function would be [2, oo) [2,)
So you can start the equation at x=2 and get the point (2,0)
Then from there I would suggest pick two more xx values, and plug them into the equation f(x) = sqrt (2x-4f(x)=2x4 two get two more points such as (2.5,1) and (4,2) (2.5,1)and(4,2)
Plot these three points on a graph and then continue the line leftward. The graph then should resemble this one below graph{sqrt (2x-4 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
