Allopatric speciation.

Explanation:

Allopatric speciation occurs when members of a species become genetically isolated, meaning they cannot breed with one another, usually due to a geographical barrier (ex: mountains, canyons, large body of water). The speciation occurs as a result of them developing different characteristics as a result of their different habitats/resources that ultimately lead to the groups becoming reproductively isolated from one another.
