For these type of problem just do analysis of pedigree,by considering the genotypes.

If the both the parent were having autosomal recessive trait that means their genotype would have been #Aa# where,#A# stands for chromosome carrying normal dominant gene and #a# for the chromosome carrying recessive gene for the disease.

So,out of the #4# children #3# get the recessive gene but only #1# is the sufferer,

So,probability of suffering from this disease is #1/4#
