Explanation:

Newtons Third Law of Motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Imagine a scenario where two opposing players are physically pushing or shouldering each other in order to get the ball.

If the two soccer players were to collide with each other, both of them would experience forces that are opposite in direction and equal in magnitude.

If say the force from one player was greater than the other player, the forces exerted by each of them would still be equal however, the momentum of the players may change in the sense that the player getting shoved with the greater force will be pushed away with more momentum and the player who provided that force would also be pushed away with some momentum but only slightly. Bear in mind the total momentum does not change.
