Explanation:

The amount taken away is 1/3, so what you have left is 2/3.

#"remainder" = 2/3 * 32,500 = (2*32,500)/3 = (65,000)/3#

#"remainder" = (64,998 + 2)/3 = 21,666 + 2/3#

Or 21,666.666....
