Which regenerates faster, cartilage or bone?

Answer is BONE which possesses natural capacity to heal and remodel itself.
Cartilages are not able to regenerate.
Explanation:
Cartilage is an unusual tissue, there is no blood supply within it. So growth factors etc. can not readily reach cartilage tissue. So once damaged or lost, cartilage can not regrow or regenerate itself.

This is the reason why changes related to loss of cartilage in mobile joints can not be reverted to normal in aged persons. In case of accidental damage to cartilage of nose/ear pinna, reconstruction surgery is needed.
Bone tissue regeneration takes place over a time which helps in healing of fractures naturally, though various cells and other factors are involved in the process. Bone tissue reparation is also possible.
