Nephron

Explanation:

Nephron is functional & structural unit of kidney. Apart from filtration, reabsorption & secretion nephron os also involved in excretion or removal of wastes from the kidneys.
In a nutshell, nephron filters blood, reabsorbs all the useful substances from the filtrate and then excrete the rest in the form of urine. Urine constitutes water#(H_2O)#, creatinine, bicarbonate#(HCO^(3-))#, potassium ions#(K^+)#, urea#(CH_4N_2O)# #&# sodiumchloride#(NaCl)#. The last part of nephron i.e collecting duct assists nephron to get rid of these wastes.
