You can't factorise

Explanation:

As the coefficient is greater than one, you have to multiply the number, and you can then factorise from there. This gives the result:
#2x^2+x-50#

You would then need to find two number that add to make 1 and multiply to make -50. This isn't possible so therefore you would need to use another method to factorise it, possibly completing the square.
