#y=5x^4+6x^2-x+1/x#

We will apply chain rule on RHS.

We know that when #y=x^n# then #dy/dx=nx^(n-1)#

#d/dxy=d/dx(5x^4+6x^2-x+x^(-1))#

#dy/dx=20x^3d/dxx+12xd/dxx-1+(-1)x^(-2)#
