$4*(4x+9y)+9*(-6x-4y)=4*(-53)+9*32$

$16x+36y-54x-36y=-212+288$

$-38x=76$

$x=-2$

I put value of $x$ into first equation,

$4*(-2)+9y=-53$

$9y-8=-53$

$9y=-45$

$y=-5$

1) I multiplied first equation with $4$ and 2nd one with $9$ for removing $y$ .

2) I found $x$ .

3) I put value of $x$ into first one for finding $y$ .
