Do ideal machines (machines that work at 100% efficiency) exist? Why or why not?

Explanation:

As far as I know, every machine converts energy from one form to another. With every transfer of energy that occurs, heat is produced usually as 'unwanted' energy and you can therefore never have 100% efficiency. I could be wrong on this one though!
