Every indefinite integral integrates zero to yield the unknown constant of integration. Normally, we do not write the zero but it is there. I will write it with the function #f(x)# and the resulting unknown constant with antiderivative #F(x)#:

#int(f(x) + 0)dx = F(x) + C#

The integration of 0 is the source of C.

The only type of answer to #int (0 )dx# would be any arbitrary constant because the derivative of any constant is zero. So, the antiderivative of #0# is #C#, an arbitrary constant .
