3.3. Slope is always rise over run. So when you are given 22 for the slope, it means your rise (yy) is 22 and your run (xx) is 11. What it translates to on a graph is that let's say we start with the point (-3, 1)(3,1), from there we go up 22 and right 11. You keep repeating that process and you will get a bunch of points. connect the points and you will get a straight line. Keep in mind, you can also change the sign of the slope and go backward. What that means is that you can go DOWN 22 and LEFT 11.

4.4. If you start at the point (-3, 1)(3,1) and go down 22 and left 11 and keep on doing that, eventually you will get to -66 on the xx-axis and if you check the number on the yy-axis you will see that you are at -55.
