We are trying to find the lengths of the legs so let's call each leg x
So each leg is x and the hypotenuse is #sqrt2x#
(Pythagoras)
The perimeter is #x+x+sqrt2x#
or #2x+sqrt2x#
This is equal to #14+7sqrt2#
This gives x=7

You didn't cover this... but if you are stuck then do something...that is draw the triangle and call the thing you are trying to find x.
