Increase in temperature, will favor the endothermic reaction.
Decrease in temperature, will favor the exothermic reaction.

A)If you increase T , the system will counteract this change by absorbing the heat. Therefore, it favors endothermic reactions.

Example:

System at equilibrium is at 200 degree celsius and the temperature is raised to 400C. The system will cool itself down by absorbing the excess heat. - Endothermic

B)If you decrease T , the system will counteract this change by releasing heat. Therefore, it favors exothermic reactions.

Example:

System at equilibrium is at 500C and the temperature is decreased to 300C. The system will react by releasing heat to adapt to this change. - Exothermic
